How we define a Known Issue

We work on isolating and fixing every product issue that we're aware of. Some issues might not be listed here. We characterize known issues as follows:

  • The issue is reproducible and consistently produces the unexpected behavior.
  • Engineers are investigating possible causes for unexpected behavior.
  • The issue is observed globally and has generated a large number of support cases.

What's not a Known Issue

  • Product outages: Up-to-date outage information is posted within the GoFormz Status Page.
  • Feature ideas: We'd love to hear your thoughts! Please contact your GoFormz Account Manager to share your ideas.
  • Low impact issues: We're also working to fix low impact issues but might not list them here. If you think you might be impacted by an issue that's not listed here, please contact our customer support team using the chat button on the bottom right corner of your screen.

Known Issues

Forms List
Error is shown when exporting form data.

Form Editor
When uploading a transparent PNG image to a form, the background (or transparent parts of the image) appear black.

Checkbox misaligned in tables with transparent columns

When using table checkbox columns, checkboxes may appear misaligned if the first column is set to transparent.

Forms List
Shared Fields are not included in CSV export of multiple forms

When exporting multiple forms to a single CSV, shared fields are not included in export.

Template Editor
Unable to upload fillable PDFs

Uploading a fillable PDF when creating a new template will produce an error message.

MOBILE - Templates Page
Upon load, recent templates are not displayed at the top of the screen.
MOBILE - Tags
Adding or deleting a tag on a completed form triggers an event

If a template event is saved to a template, adding or deleting a tag of a completed form will trigger an event even if not direct to. Note: this is only occurring on devices running Android v3.0.1237.

MOBILE - Form Transfer
Users can transfer a form to any user in account even if the user is in a group that limits visibility of other users.
Form Editor
Landscape images added as a sketch field background will top justify upon saving causing misalignment of sketches drawn on image

When saving a landscape image to a sketch field as a background, the image will top justify upon saving causing a misalignment of sketches drawn on image.

FORM LIST
Groups with "View Member's Forms" permission enabled have full access to new form template folder

When "View Member's Forms" permission is enabled for a group, the "Use Templates" permission is automatically turned on as well even if not shown as toggled on in Users & Groups.

Template Editor
When pasting text into the template name while using Firefox, a secondary line will be added breaking the UI.
MOBILE - Form Editor
Users are unable to upload a photo from the Kindle photo library

When completing an image or sketch field on a form using a Kindle device, users cannot upload a photo from the Kindle photo library

Transfer Forms
Users are able to transfer forms to other users who do not have access to view this form

When transferring a form, a user can transfer to another user even if the receiving user does not have permission to view the transferred form.

MOBILE - Form Editor
Long field names do not wrap to show all text in field name

When completing a form using an iOS phone, field titles that extend past the available width of a single line does not wrap to show a second line.

MOBILE - Share
Unable to attach pdf generated by GoFormz to an email to be sent by the Kindle native email app.
MOBILE - Form Editor
Properties settings on Multi-Line text fields are not properly applying on iOS app.

Saved properties such as center aligned, font color, etc. are not showing on iOS apps for multi-line text fields

When filtering by owner, results may show duplicate forms or form not associated with the desired filter.

When exporting a form to a PDF, image fields with portrait center images are shown misaligned with original placement
Form Search - MOBILE ONLY
Form search is not showing in order of expected results
WINDOWS APP - Form Editor
An image added in form view breaks the app in list view
MOBILE Form Transfer
Form transfers ownership when a PDF is exported.
MOBILE Pixel 2
Pixel 2 devices running Android 9 are not able to login to GoFormz.
Users & Groups
Loading screen remains active after adding new user
MOBILE Tags
Submitting using the enter button when searching for adding an existing tag will duplicate the desired result.
