When your people need their hands, they can still use their voices.
On a job site, hands are rarely free. They’re holding a tool, gripping a ladder or steadying a part. They’re in insulated gloves for safety or heavy gloves for the cold. They’re on a rooftop, in a crawlspace, or just covered in grease.
In all of those moments, typing on a phone or tablet ranges from impractical to impossible. So we built a feature to fix it: AI Voice Fill.
How it works: hands-free form filling
Tap once to start AI Voice Fill on the current page or tab. Then talk through the job the way you’d explain it to a coworker. AI Voice Fill handles text, numbers, dates, dropdowns, checkboxes, database fields and table fields, which covers nearly everything except photos and eSignatures. Each page captures its own recording, up to two minutes long. For longer forms, record and complete one section at a time.
When you’re done, tap “Done” and AI maps what you said to the right fields. Everything it fills is highlighted, so you can review every value before you submit. On submission, GoFormz saves the time-stamped voice recording with the form, so your records are audit-ready and defensible.
No signal? No problem. Add an Audio field to your form and record your observations on site. GoFormz saves the recording without a connection. Once you’re back in service, run AI Voice Fill from that recording, then review and submit as usual.
Field teams have been asking for this. As one IT leader put it before launch:
“A lot of the guys are texting with dirty hands, wearing gloves, or just don’t have the best typing skills. Being able to use voice recordings is the next feature we’re looking into to make our employees’ lives easier.”

Who it’s for
Once it’s turned on, anyone in your organization can use AI Voice Fill. Roofers and utility crews working at height. HVAC techs in attics, basements and crawlspaces. Anyone working outdoors in the cold with gloves on. Crews in food and pharmaceutical production who have to stay gloved for compliance.
Here are a few of the most common use cases.
Safety observations and JHAs: Record hazards, controls and crew acknowledgments as you go, so the JHA is done before the work starts. No more reconstructing it from memory after the fact.
Equipment inspections: Walk the asset and say what you see: damage, readings, operating status. Your hands stay free the whole time, and you review everything before you submit.
Daily reports: Make same-day reporting the default by capturing progress throughout the day. Fill the report section by section, by area, crew or phase, instead of one long recap at the end of the shift.
Work orders and T&M tickets: Record work performed, materials used and billable hours while you wrap up, and submit before you leave the site. Billing gets it the same day. Your billing department will love you.
Substation and utility line inspections: Document findings in energized environments without taking off your PPE. Out of range? Use the Audio field and fill the form once you’re back in service.
Punch lists: Capture punch items as you walk the site, including location, condition and next action. The recording becomes part of your permanent record, along with photos and the completed form.
Why it matters
Every bit of friction between a crew and a form costs you data. Crews skip sections, rush through, or forget entirely. You end up with one-word answers, details pieced together from memory, or blanks.
Generic voice-to-text apps help a little. They dump everything into one text box, and someone still has to sort out the dates, numbers, checkboxes and table entries. AI Voice Fill puts each answer in its proper field.
It’s also built so your crew stays in charge of the record. AI only fills the fields your admin chooses, never overwrites anything a person entered, and highlights everything it fills for review before the form is saved.
The result: forms completed on site, while the details are fresh, by crews who never had to take their gloves off. Your office gets reliable data today, so you can plan better for tomorrow.
Hands full? Just say it.
