Job Description

GoFormz is a San Diego-based company leading the mobile data capture industry. We empower businesses to replace paper forms with web and mobile-based digital forms that provide global access to the collected data. We are looking for an AI QA Automation Engineer to modernize our QA practices through intelligent automation. You will design AI-augmented test suites, maintain Playwright frameworks, and integrate AI tools to accelerate test generation and defect detection across web and mobile applications.

The Details:

• Design automated test suites leveraging AI for web and mobile platforms
• Maintain and improve existing Playwright testing infrastructure
• Apply AI tools (Copilot, LLM-assisted generation) to streamline test script creation
• Implement AI/ML for anomaly detection and test prioritization
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct root cause analysis on test failures with AI assistance
• Support pre-release testing and deployment activities
• Evaluate third-party AI-powered QA platforms and research emerging AI testing methodologies

The Requirements:

• 5+ years automated testing framework experience
• Hands-on Playwright proficiency; Appium familiarity preferred
• Demonstrated AI tool usage (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.)
• LLM-based test generation or intelligent test selection knowledge
• JIRA experience with strong bug report documentation skills
• Strong ownership mentality and independent work capability

Compensation: $70,000–$110,000 annually
