GoFormz Extends Integration With Box, Allowing Joint Customers to Use Metadata to More Easily File, Organize, and Search for Electronic Documents

New solution extends integration of GoFormz Mobile Forms with Box online file sharing



GoFormz, the only company committed to making everyone successful with mobile forms, today announced a new integration with Box. Joint customers already use GoFormz Mobile Forms and Reporting and Box to eliminate paper both in the office and out in the field. Customers love using GoFormz to capture data electronically from mobile forms that look just like their paper forms and store them in Box for easy collaboration.

The new integration extends the value for joint customers by leveraging Box’s new metadata capability. The new metadata API integration with GoFormz now makes it possible to: 

  • Map fields on a GoFormz mobile form to specific metadata fields in Box
  • Auto-populate Box metadata values based on the corresponding value entered and saved in the GoFormz mobile form

This means customers can quickly file, organize and search for files in Box based on anything they capture or itemize on a GoFormz mobile form. Some examples of metadata fields on a form include customer names and numbers, product or partner names and numbers, service order types, issue categories, work completion dates, contract values, etc. An administrator can configure a form to automatically generate metadata every time a user completes it.

The new metadata API integration between GoFormz and Box makes it even easier for users to organize and find the data they capture electronically. Together we’re taking mobile collaboration to the next level.
