Get your most-used forms off paper and your field data into Procore faster.
Procore is the industry’s go-to platform for running construction projects, from project management to cost management to resource management. It’s where your PMs plan, track and make decisions.
The data those decisions depend on starts in the field. If your crews are still filling out paper forms on site, every hour between capturing that data and getting it into Procore costs you. Paper, fillable PDFs and Procore’s native forms all have the same limitation: they’re static documents. The data stays on the page until someone re-enters it somewhere useful.
To connect what happens in the field to what happens in the office, the forms your crews use every day need to send their data directly into your Procore modules.
That’s what the GoFormz + Procore integration does. It replaces paper forms and static PDFs with dynamic digital workflows, which extends the reach of your Procore platform and the value of your investment.
So where should you start? Here are the five forms Procore teams should digitize first.
1. Daily logs
Your PMs rely on daily reports to keep projects on schedule and on budget, billing accurate and risk low. When a superintendent’s daily report gets stuck on a clipboard, in a truck or in someone’s inbox, the PM ends up making decisions on yesterday’s data.
With GoFormz, that report is live in the Procore Daily Log the moment the super hits submit. Crew count, work performed, materials used, weather issues and notes all arrive as structured data, so your PMs have everything they need for accurate next-day planning.
The integration makes life easier in the field, too. GoFormz pulls live Procore data into field forms from day one, so job numbers, cost codes and WBS codes fill in automatically and accurately. Built-in conditional logic handles auto-calculations, page branching and showing or hiding fields based on the user and the situation.
“Everything that’s in GoFormz has a corresponding document and Procore object.”
Janeen Sheard, Director of Information Services, The Conlan Company
2. Job safety and hazard analyses
For hot work, work at height and other high-risk jobs, safety documentation protects your crews and keeps you compliant. When job safety analysis (JSA) and job hazard analysis (JHA) forms are on paper, supervisors can only verify completion by seeing the paper on site. Conditions can change mid-shift without anyone in the office knowing. Paper also gets damaged, lost or forgotten, and if an issue comes up later, crews have to reconstruct what happened from memory. That’s a weak position to be in during an audit.
With the GoFormz + Procore integration, those forms flow straight into Procore as soon as they’re submitted. Multi-level conditional approvals confirm compliance before work begins. GoFormz captures crew sign-offs and photos with automatic time and location stamps, so your records are audit-ready, defensible and immutable.
“We saw a 60% increase in JSA submissions all within 30 days of implementing GoFormz.”
David Gutierrez, Senior Estimator, SpawGlass
3. Time and materials tickets
The faster you invoice, the faster you get paid. When crews track time and materials on paper, there’s always a lag between doing the work and billing for it. The paper goes back to the office, gets re-typed into Procore and has to be approved before anyone can invoice. It’s slow, labor-intensive and error-prone.
With GoFormz, crews complete T&M tickets on their own devices right on the job. Procore job and cost codes fill in automatically, users see only the fields relevant to them, totals calculate themselves and forms route through approval workflows on their own.
When a user hits submit, the ticket lands in the right Procore project, tied to the right cost codes. If the site has no connectivity, the data syncs as soon as the device is back online. Either way, it reaches Procore the same day, with every hour of labor documented and nothing to re-key before billing.
4. Punch lists
Near the end of a project, paper punch lists can stand between you and final payment. Chasing down crews, deciphering illegible paperwork and hunting for backup documentation all slow your cash flow.
GoFormz punch lists close that gap. Crews record punch items on their devices, including status, location, assignee, trade and photos. Each submission automatically creates a Procore Punch Item with time and location data and backup documentation attached. Your PM’s punch list stays current and accurate on its own.
“We can now process locations, photos, and completed work on the same day. Previously, this process could take up to three weeks or even a month. With GoFormz, everything can be handled instantly.”
Mikel Pellitero Espinosa, High Voltage Live Work Technician, Elecnor
5. Equipment inspections
Big projects run on a lot of equipment, often from many different sources. Daily inspections and walkarounds keep crews safe and sites compliant. They also protect your bottom line when equipment arrives damaged, needs repair or can’t be used.
When inspections happen on paper, problems your crews flag may not reach the superintendent right away. That lag between spotting an issue and acting on it puts your people and your margins at risk. Lost paperwork, skipped sections and missing documentation make things worse later, especially when auditors come calling.
GoFormz inspection forms capture digital signatures and photos, and confirm every required field is complete before submission. Each form automatically creates a Procore Inspection with everything your crew captured in the field. There’s nothing to export, upload or re-enter.
Why not just use Procore’s native forms?
Procore includes a native Forms tool, and it’s a convenient place to store documents. Those forms are PDF-based, so their data stays on the page until someone in the office enters it into another module by hand. They have no conditional logic or auto-calculations, and they can’t send data to your other systems, like your ERP, SQL database, SharePoint or Power BI dashboards.
GoFormz handles all of that. It covers the field side of the job, a part Procore was never designed to do on its own.
Same forms, smarter data
With GoFormz, you can mirror your existing forms, so there’s no retraining. Crews fill out the same forms they already know, on their own devices. Behind the scenes, GoFormz sends structured data directly into your Procore modules the moment they hit submit. Setup requires no code.
The result is more value from your Procore investment, for a fraction of what you paid for Procore.
